ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES CONDUCTED
- Telangana State Chapter organized 3rd Annual State conference Telangana chapter on 14th&15th June 2019, themed on “Publish & Progress”. Deliberations included Statistics in Scientific research,SPSS demonstration, and a Panel discussion on how to apply for research grants.

Telangana State Chapter of Association of Medical Biochemists of India was inaugurated on 29 Apr.2015 by National president of AMBI, Dr.S.Sanjeevi Rao, Speacial invitees were : Dr.K.Shanthi Naidu,

The CPD program “Electrophoresis RRR – From Bands to Breakthrough” was conducted on 29/08/2025 by the Department of Biochemistry, ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Hyderabad, organized under the aegis of AMBI–Telangana Chapter. After getting approval from AMBI, a request was submitted to the Telangana Medical Council, which awarded 2 credit hours for the CPD. A total of 172 registrations were done for the CPD.
The event began with a welcome note followed by the first scientific session, “Charged for Action: The Electrophoresis Kickoff,” which was delivered by Dr. Jagannadha Phaneendra DS, Professor & HOD, Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences.
The inauguration ceremony was done by dignitaries such as Dr. K. Shanthi Naidu, HOD & Consultant Biochemist, CARE Hospitals and Secretary General, AMBI HQs; Dr. C.V. Sarada, President, AMBI Telangana; Dr. Shirishkumar G. Chavan, Dean, ESICMCH; Dr. M. Radhika, Medical Superintendent, ESICMCH; Dr. A. Pullaiah, President Elect, AMBI HQs; Dr. V. Sampath Kumar, Professor & HOD, ESICMCH; and Dr.Padma Y, State Representative, AMBI Telangana.
The second session, “Gel in Motion: Proteins on the Run,” was conducted by Dr. Anamika, Senior Consultant Biochemist & HOD, Yashoda Hospital. The third session, “Diagnosing by Fixing the Design: Immunofixation Electrophoresis,” was presented by Dr. Imran Ahmed Siddiqui, Professor,ESICMCH. The fourth session, “Tracing the Bands of Life: Hemoglobin Electrophoresis,” was delivered by Dr. V. Praveena, Assistant Professor, GMC Jangaon. The final talk, “Speed Meets Resolution: Capillary Electrophoresis Decoded,” was given by Dr. M. Noorjahan, Professor & HOD, NIMS.
A quiz session was conducted for the postgraduate participants, followed by poster presentations judged by Dr. Padma Y, Professor & HOD, Mamatha Academy of Medical Sciences and Dr. H. Kishan Reddy Professor & HOD, Chalmeda Anandrao Institute of Medical Science. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and the national anthem.
